Drop in Session “Community Facility Needs”

The Tai Tapu Community and the Selwyn District Council are currently working

together on the future provision of community facilities in Tai Tapu.

Council has engaged the services of Strategic Leisure (NZ) Ltd to undertake

community needs analysis for Tai Tapu. David Allan from Strategic Leisure

(NZ) Ltd and Council staff will be at the drop in session to gather information,

suggestions etc from interested residents and groups on the needs for

community facilities in Tai Tapu.

Note – This meeting is not to discuss the future of the hall, but to gain a

broader picture on the needs for community facilities and follows on from the

survey completed for Tai Tapu. Several other meetings are being held with

local stakeholder organisations.
