Tai Tapu Community Association
The Tai Tapu Community Association (formally the Tai Tapu Residents Association) has been a registered incorporated society for over 30 years with the aim to “promote, improve and protect the interests and the environment of the residents of the Tai Tapu district”.
Meetings
We meet 5 times a year in the Library. It is an opportunity for the local community to hear of plans for the district and to advise the council of any concerns we have. It is also a forum to develop ideas to improve the local environment.
We have 8 to 12 local residents at our meetings. Our Chairperson is Jon Ward, Vice-chair Gerald Carter, Treasurer is Sebastian Wilberforce and the Secretary is Thea Hewitt. Local Selwyn District Councillor Grant Miller also attends our meetings.
The meeting times for 2016 are:
- 10 February – 7.30pm
- 6 April – 7.30pm
- 1 June – 7.30pm
- 3 August – 7.30pm
- 5 October – 7.30pm
- 7 December (AGM) – 7.30pm
